They spin their large, beautiful webs over the paths at the edge of the woods, often having to start from scratch each night because of human-spider web collisions. (The spider web never wins.) I'm not nearly as knowledgeable about invertebrates as I'd like to be, and I haven't had time to track down the specific identity of this one. If anyone happens to know it, please send me a note.
