Description: This was one of several males apparently singing on territory in the same field. I located one of its favorite perches and just sat down near it and waited. The bird was so tame that it came closer than I could focus (less than 15 ft) several times. The cocked tail in this image is the result of a strong gust of wind, not the bird's normal posture.
